Khimki and Pullen to stay together this season

Khimki Moscow Region and veteran guard Jacob Pullen, who was playing on a one-month deal, have now agreed to a deal until the end of the season. Pullen (1.85 meters, 26 years old) has come off the bench in all three 7DAYS EuroCup games so far, and is averaging a team-high 15.7 points, along with 3.7 assists and 1.3 steals. He was Pullen the MVP of Round 3, after lead his team to a resounding 72-102 road win at previously undefeated ALBA Berlin, with 25 points, 2 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 steals and 5 fouls drawn, good for a performance index rating of 32.

Pullen played last season for Cedevita Zagreb, which he led to the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague Top 16 with a team leading 13.5 points plus 2.8 assists over 24 games. He also helped Cedevita reach the Adriatic League semifinals after posting 14.4 points and 3.2 assists per game in that competition and captured the Croatian League and Cup double.

Pullen has also played for FC Barcelona and Baloncesto Sevilla of Spain; Enel Basket Brindisi, Angelico Biella and Virtus Bologna of Italy and Hapoel Jerusalem of Israel. He helped Barcelona reach the EuroLeague Final Four and win the Spanish League title in 2014. Pullen also set a Spanish League record for most three-point shots made in a game with 12 against CB Valladolid. Pullen first rose to prominence as a college star at Kansas State University, where he was the team captain in three of his four seasons. He was twice selected to the All-Big 12 Conference First Team and the All-Big 12 Defensive Team. Pullen graduated as the Wildcats’ career leader in scoring (2,132 points), three-pointers made (299) and steals (210). He has also been a member of the Georgian national team.
