Two time former champion Khimki Moscow Region had a busy week. In addition to a big road 72-102 win at ALBA Berlin in Round 3, the Russian club added three players to its roster as guard Markel Brown, and forwards Robbie Hummel and Jeremy Evans all signed contracts until the end of the current season. Evans (2.06 meters, 29 years old) is coming to the European continent for the first time, after playing professionally for five seasons with Utah and one with Dallas in the NBA. He has played a total of 249 NBA games in his career, with an average of 3.5 points and 2.6 rebounds. Evans and has also briefly played with Utah and Texas of the Development League. Hummel (2.06 meters, 27 years old) last played with the EA7 Emporio Armani Milan, where last season he averaged 7.6 points, 4 rebounds and 1 assists in EuroLeague regular season before injury cut his season short. Hummel has also played with Blusens Monbus Obradoiro in Spain, and Minnesota in NBA. Brown (1.91 meters, 24 years old) has spent past two seasons with Brooklyn in the NBA, and Main in the Development League. All three players are now set to make their 7DAYS EuroCup debuts. Khimki also parted ways with Justin Carter and Perry Jones.
