Israeli champion Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem signed a three-year deal with veteran guard Yogev Ohayon, who has spent the past six seasons with Maccabi Tel Aviv. Ohayon (1.89 meters, 30 years old) was released by Maccabi last week and wasted little time before finding a new club. He helped Maccabi win the 2014 EuroLeague crown and averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 assists and 1.1 steals over 138 EuroLeague games with the club. Ohayon also won a pair of Israeli League championships, six Israeli State Cups and the 2012 Adriatic League with the club. He returns to the Israeli capital after playing for Hapoel for two seasons from 2009 through 2011. He is a product of the Hapoel Galil Elyon program and played four seasons there before spending one with Ironi Nahariya. Ohayon is also a regular with the Israeli national team.
