Buducnost VOLI Podgorica reached a new agreement with point guard Nemanja Gordic to stay together next season, the club announced Sunday. Gordic (1.93 meters, 28 years old) averaged two points and 1.4 assists in five 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He did better in the Adriatic League, averaging 6.4 points and 2.6 assists in 21 games. He started his career with Buducnost, leaving the club in December 2010 to join Italian powerhouse Lottomatica Roma. Gordic has also played for Azovmash Mariupol of Ukraine, Partizan Belgrade of Serbia, Igokea Aleksandrovac of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as for Cedevita Zagreb of Croatia. He helped Buducnost win four Montenegrin League titles in 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2017, lifted both the Adriatic League and the Serbian League trophies with Partizan in 2013, added a Bosnian League crown with Igokea in 2015 and back-to-back Croatian doubles - league and cup - titles with Cedevita in 2015 and 2016. Gordic is also a member of the Bosnian national team.
