FC Bayern Munich reached a new agreement with center Devin Booker to keep working together next season, the club announced Wednesday. Booker (2.05 meters, 26 years old) averaged 12.1 points on 64% two-point shooting and 5.9 rebounds, leading his team in scoring and performance index rating (14.6 PIR per game) and reaching the playoffs as one of the two undefeated teams in the Top 16. Booker had joined Bayern from Elan Chalon, where he averaged 14.9 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 34 French League games in the 2015-16 season. He helped Chalon reach the FIBA Europe Cup final four and the French Leaders Cup title game. Booker was also chosen as the French League MVP that season. He started his career with Sluc Nancy Basket and also played for JL Bourg Basket, helping it promote to the French elite in 2014. "I am really happy to return to Munich with my family, to such a great club as FC Bayern," Booker said. "I cannot wait to give my best next season, contributing to our team's success."
