Darussafaka inks forward Bell
Darussafaka Istanbul reached an agreement with small forward James Bell to work together next season, the club announced Saturday. Bell (1.96 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Hapoel Holon, where he averaged 14.9 points and 5.1 rebounds in 37 Israeli League games last season, helping his team reach the playoffs. After a four-year stint at Villanova University, Bell started his professional basketball career with Vanoli Cremona of Italy and also played for SLUC Nancy of France before joining Holon. He played the 7DAYS EuroCup with Nancy, averaging 8.6 points on 48.6% three-point shooting and 2.8 rebounds in 10 games in the 2015-16 season.
