Darussafaka Istanbul continued its roster rebuild by signing small forward Stanton Kidd, who arrives from German club Walter Tigers Tuebingen. The contract is for one season with an option for a second. Kidd (2.01 meters, 25 years old) averaged 12.9 points on 40.7% three-point shooting, 5.0 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.3 steals in 20 German League games last season. He made his professional basketball debut the season before in Belgium with Limburg United. Kidd played college basketball for one season each at Colorado State University and North Carolina Central University. Prior to that, he helped South Plains College win the 2011-12 National Junior College Athletic Association championship.
