2018 EuroCup Finals at a glance

The two most-deserving teams in the 2018 7DAYS EuroCup are the ones that will play for the title in the finals. Undefeated Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar seeks its second EuroCup title and Darussafaka Istanbul will play for its first.

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar vs. Darussafaka Istanbul

After respective sweeps in both their EuroCup Quarterfinals and Semifinals, Lokomotiv and Darussafaka will face off in the best-of-three finals. These two teams had the two best defenses in the competition this season and were the teams with both the most wins and fewest losses. Lokomotiv's 20-0 record is the best ever to start a EuroCup campaign, while Darussafaka's 17-3 mark is also among the best ever recorded. Lokomotiv has limited opponents to both the fewest points scored (68.7 ppg.) and lowest performance index rating (65.9), while Darussafaka is second in both categories (71.2 points allowed, 70.1 PIR). The Darussafaka attack is led by the EuroCup's top scorer Scottie Wilbekin (18.8 ppg.), while Lokomotiv features seven scorers who have averaged at least 8 points per game this season in addition to top scorer Ryan Broekhoff (12.3 ppg.), who is likely out for the series. This series promises to be a clash of the best the EuroCup has to offer, which will ultimately crown a deserving champion.
