Cedevita Zagreb reached a new agreement with center Andrija Stipanovic to keep working together for two more years, until the end of the 2019-20 season, the club announced Thursday night. Stipanovic (2.09 meters, 31 years old) averaged 8.1 points and 4.8 rebounds in 16 7DAYS EuroCup games last season. He helped Cedevita win the Croatian double - league and cup titles - in his first season with the club. Stipanovic joined Cedevita from Buyukcekmece Basket in Turkey, where he posted 10.5 points and 5.0 rebounds in the 2016-17 season. Before that, he played three seasons for Trabzonspor Medical Park, the last of which saw him produce 14.0 points and 5.3 rebounds in 16 EuroCup contests. Stipanovic also played the 2013-14 EuroCup with Telenet Ostend. He began his career with Hermes Analitica Zagreb and KK Split in Croatia and has also played for Liege and Ostend in Belgium, Caserta and Cremona in Italy and Trabzonspor and Buyukcekmece in Turkey. Stipanovic has also represented the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team.
