Partizan signs Nikolic to three-year deal

Partizan NIS Belgrade signed point guard
Aleksej Nikolic
to a three-year deal, the club announced Tuesday. Nikolic (1.91 meters, 23 years old) arrives from Brose Bamberg, where he spent the past three seasons. He averaged 2.6 points and 1.7 assists per game in the EuroLeague and 5.3 points and 1.5 assists in the German League. A product of the youth system at Zlatorog Lasko in his native Slovenia, Nikolic began his professional career with Spars Sarajevo before joining Brose. In his time there, Nikolic won a pair of German League championships and one German Cup. Nikolic has represented Slovenia at both the junior and senior levels and was a member of the gold medal-winning squad at EuroBasket 2017.
