Tofas Bursa signed swingman
Kyle Weems
for the coming season, the club announced Tuesday. Weems (1.98 meters, 28 years old) arrives from fellow Turkish side Besiktas Istanbul where he spent the past two seasons. He averaged 8.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in the Turkish League last season. Before that, Weems led Strasbourg of France to the 2016 EuroCup Finals with 11.4 points and 4.0 rebounds per game. He also made his Turkish Airlines EuroLeague debut with Strasbourg. Weems previously played for Telekom Baskets Bonn and BBC Bayreuth in Germany and JSF Nanterre in France. He won the 2015 Euro Challenge and the Semaine d'As with Nanterre.
