Turk Telekom Ankara bolstered its frontcourt on Thursday with the addition of big man Vladimir Stimac for the next two seasons. Stimac (2.10 meters, 30 years old) arrives from fellow Turkish side Anadolu Efes Istanbul, where last season he had 30 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague appearances, starting in 11 of them. In those games, Stimac averaged 9.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.0 assists for a 13.4 PIR average. He ranked third overall in the competition regular season for total offensive rebounds pulled with 76 and fourth overall also in total rebounds (174). Stimac is a veteran player with solid continental experience. He played the EuroLeague with teams such as Zalgiris Kaunas, Unicaja Malaga, FC Bayern Munich or Crvena Zvezda. This will also be his comeback to the 7DAYS EuroCup. He last played it in 2015 with Bayern, but he also has experience in the competition with Zvezda, CEZ Nymburk and Banvit Bandirma.
