UNICS inks guard standout Henry

UNICS Kazan signed standout guard
Pierria Henry
for the coming season on Monday. Henry (1.93 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Tofas Bursa for which he averaged 10.9 points, 4.6 assists and 2.0 steals per game in the 7DAYS EuroCup last season. He ranked third in the regular season in steals. Likewise, Henry posted great all-around numbers in the Turkish League, where his 5.9 assists per game were second-best. Henry also totaled 9.6 points and 4.3 rebounds per game in helping Tofas reached the Turkish Finals. Henry has previously played professionally for Hapoel Eliat in Israel, ratiopharm Ulm in Germany and Vita Tblisi of Georgia. Prior to that, Henry played four seasons of college basketball at the University of Charlotte.
