As announced by the club on Friday afternoon, Cedevita Zagreb signed big man Tyler Wideman for three seasons. Wideman (2.03 meters, 22 years old) will be playing his first season as a pro. He just finished playing college ball in Butler, where in his senior year, he averaged 9.1 points and 5.1 rebounds in 33 games. He was also elected to win the All-Big East Sportsmanship award last season. Wideman was working at a Jewish Center with pre-school children, retired people and people with special needs. He was also a coach in the younger categories and ran a basketball clinic for children with special needs.
