Turkish side Tofas Bursa made official on Tuesday the signing of center Jeff Withey for the coming season. Withey (2.13 meters, 28 years old) last played for Dallas of the NBA, for which he appeared in nine games last season. He played in a total of 206 NBA games over parts of five seasons for New Orleans, Utah and Dallas. Before that Withey played college basketball at the University of Kansas from 2009 through 2013 and was twice named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year. Withey will make his European debut this season in the 7DAYS EuroCup.
