Brescia lands high-scoring forward Hamilton
7DAYS EuroCup debutante Germani Brescia Leonessa signed forward Jordan Hamilton for the coming season, the club announced late Thursday. Hamilton (2.01 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Hapoel Unet Holon, which it helped to the Israeli League championship game last season. He averaged 19.1 points on 47.3% three-point shooting and 7.8 rebounds for Holon in the regular season and 16.0 points on 38.5% three-point shooting and 7.3 rebounds in the playoffs. Hamilton began the season with Muratbey Usak, for which he posted 13.5 points and 6.8 boards in the Turkish League. Hamilton played the 2015-16 season in the EuroCup with Russian side Krasny Oktyabr Volgograd, for which he averaged 12.2 points and 7.7 rebounds per game. He has also played parts of five seasons in the NBA with Denver, Houston, Los Angeles Clippers and New Orleans and had stints with Idaho, Iowa, Reno and Rio Grande in the D-League; Tofas Bursa in Turkey; and Bucaneros de La Guaira and Guaros de Lara in Venezuela.
