Zenit keeps Pushkov in St Petersburg

Zenit St Petersburg made sure on Tuesday to keep some local talent in the paint when it announced a contract extension with big man Anton Pushkov for another season. Pushkov (2.08 meters, 29 years old) missed the whole 2017-18 season due to a bad knee injury. He has been in the team since 2015, and in his last 7DAYS EuroCup season with the team, in 2016-17, he averaged 4.8 points and 3.3 rebounds in 12 games. This will be his actual fourth season in the EuroCup, not counting the last one, and he first played with Khimki Moscow Region in 2011-12.
