Cedevita Zagreb has shored up its frontline with the signing of dynamic center Augusto Lima, who will make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with the Croatian champs. Lima (2.08 meters, 26 years old) has previously played six EuroLeague seasons with three different teams. He arrives from UCAM Murcia, where he averaged 6.4 points and 5.8 rebounds in 14 Spanish League games last season. Lima also played for Besiktas in Turkey and Xinjiang in China last season. A native of Brazil, Lima came to Spain at age 16 to play in Unicaja Malaga's junior system. He began his senior career on loan at Clinicas Rincon and CB Granada, both in Spain, moved to Murcia in 2013, and played two and a half seasons there before joining Real Madrid. Lima played the 2016-17 season with Zalgiris Kaunas. He won the Spanish League and Cup double with Madrid in 2016 and the Lithuanian double with Zalgiris in 2017.
