Galatasaray Istanbul added versatile swingman
Jaka Klobucar
on a one-year contract, the club announced Tuesday. Klobucar (1.98 meters, 30 years old) spent the past three seasons with Istanbul BSB; he averaged 10.2 points, 4.2 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game last season. He began his career with Krka Novo Mesto in his native Slovenia, where he also played for
Geopolin
Slovan and Union Olimpija Ljubljana. He has also suited up for Partizan Belgrade in Serbia and
ratiopharm
Ulm in Germany. Klobucar has won the Slovenian League championship three times, the Slovenian Cup on three different occasions and the Serbian Cup on another. He has experience of three seasons in the EuroLeague, but Klobucar will make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut this season.
