ALBA Berlin got some short-term help for its frontcourt by signings big man Clint Chapman for two months during the upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup Regular Season. Chapman (2.08 meters, 29 years old) has played most of his pro career in Asia, last season starring in Japan for Hiroshima Dragonflies, where he put up 15.8 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game. Chapman is due to fill in for injured center Dennis Clifford, who is out with a patellar tendon problem. Chapman played previously in Europe for Massagno and Fribourg in Switzerland, as well as for Manisa in Turkey's second division. Since 2014, he has played for four Japanese teams, including Hiroshima twice.
