Partizan NIS Belgrade and head coach Nenad Canak parted ways on Friday night. The coach offered his resignation after an Adriatic League home loss against Zadar, and the club is now searching for a new head of the bench. Canak is a former player and a club legend who took over the head coaching position in December of last season. He led Partizan to the 2018 Serbian Cup title and had a promising start to this season, which included a home win over Zenit St. Petersburg in 7DAYS EuroCup Round 2. However, Partizan has now lost five games in a row in all competitions and sits in a share of the fourth place of EuroCup Group C with a 1-3 record. In Round 5, Partizan plays on the road against Turk Telekom Ankara and will try to get back to the winning ways with a new person in charge.
