VEF Riga adds forward Daniels

Latvian champion VEF Riga has bolstered its roster by signing scoring forward William Daniels for the 2012-13 Eurocup Regular Season. Williams (2.03 meters, 26 years old) averaged 14.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 assists per game last season playing for Nanterre in the French League. The previous season, he had helped Nanterre move up from the second to the first division in France. Daniels has also played for Peristeri and Kavala of Greece, as well as the Bakersfield Jam and University of Rhode Island in the U.S.
