Azovmash Mariupol added another piece to the puzzle by signing small forward Manny Harris for the coming season. Harris (1.96 meters, 22 years old) has spent most of the past two seasons with Cleveland in the NBA. There he averaged 6.7 points and 2.7 rebounds in 26 games last season. He also spent time with Cleveland’s D-League club, Canton, for whom he tallied 21.4 points and 7.9 rebounds in 17 appearances. Harris had a successful college basketball career at the University of Michigan, where he spent three years. He was named to the All-Big Ten Conference team after each season – including the first team in 2009 – and finished his career 10th on the Wolverines' career scoring list with 1,668 points. Harris also ranked among the school’s career leaders in three-pointers made (142, sixth), steals (144, seventh) and assists (366, ninth).
