Skyliners add young center Kratzer
Fraport Skyliners Frankfurt reacted to injuries by picking up young talent Leon Kratzer for the frontcourt, the team announced on Tuesday. Kratzer (2.12 meters, 21 years old) arrives from another German club, Brose Bamberg, where he played sparingly in four games this season. Although he was on Bamberg's roster in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, he has never seen official action in that competition or in the 7DAYS EuroCup. Kratzer has made 12 appearances over three editions of the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Gereation Tournament for Bamberg, averaging a double-double of 11.8 points and 10.8 rebounds in those games. Going into Friday's home game against Lietuvos Rytas, Skyliners have a 4-3 record n Group D but are without injured frontcourt players Jonas Wohlfarth-Bottermann and Niklas Kiel.
