Limoges CSP announced on Sunday that it has promoted assistant coach Francois Peronnet to become the club's new head coach in place of Kyle Milling, who was dismissed the day before. Peronnet, 45, has past experience as a head coach in France with Chalons-en-Champagne, Bourg-en-Bresse, Quimper and Orleans as well as for Tokyo Hachioji Bee Trains in Japan. He has been with Limoges as Milling's assistant for the past season and a half.
"Francois is a recognized tactician. He is very familiar with the club's sport plans and actively supports them," Limoges sporting director Olivier Bourgain said. "He is a leader of men. He puts intensity into everything he does. He is now the best person to help us bounce back from a complicated mid-season record. The individual connection he has with each player will be a considerable asset to recreate a positive dynamic."
