With an eye on the 7DAYS EuroCup Top 16 already, Cedevita Zagreb has fortified its roster by signing experienced forward Edo Muric, a reigning European national champion. Muric (2.02 meters, 27 years old) last played with Zielona Gora of Poland. He spent eight Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season with Anadolu Efes Istanbul, shortly after having won the 2017 EuroBasket title as a key contributor for his Slovenian national team. Muric returns to the EuroCup after having spent one season each in the competition with KRKA Novo Mesto, in 2011-12, and with Partizan NIS Belgrade, in 2014-15. He put up 14 points on average over seven games with Partian. He also played with Banvit of Turkey in the 2016-17 season. "At this point, he's a great boost for us and I expect his full contribution very soon, Cedevita coach Slaven Rimac said.
