Partizan NIS Belgrade fortified its backcourt with the signing of veteran point guard Alex Renfroe for the remainder of the season. Renfroe (1.91 meters, 32 years old) is a veteran of three EuroCup seasons with two different clubs: FC Bayern Munich and Galatasaray Istanbul. He has also played three EuroLeague campaigns, one each with ALBA Berlin, Bayern and FC Barcelona Lassa. Renfroe arrives from BAXI Manresa, for which he ranked third in the Spanish League in perform index rating at 18.5 this season. He averaged 14.1 points on 46.8% three-point shooting, plus 6.0 assists over 13 games.
Renfroe started his career with VEF Riga of Latvia and also played for Zagreb of Croatia, Enel Brindisi of Italy, Brose Bamberg of Germany, Enisey Krasnoyarsk of Russia and Baloncesto Valladolid and Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz of Spain. He helped Zagreb win the Croatian League title in 2011 and lifted the German League trophy with Bamberg in 2013. Renfroe has also been a member of the Bosnian national team.
