EWE Baskets Oldenburg continued its preparation for its return to the 7DAYS EuroCup next season by re-signing power forward Justin Sears for another season. Sears (2.03 meters, 25 years old) was limited to just two German League games with Oldenburg last season, however, he posted 10.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 0.9 blocks for MHP RIESEN Ludwigsburg the year before. He made his professional basketball debut with Giessen 46ers in 2016 after playing college basketball at Yale University, where he was a two-time Ivy League Conference Player of the Year. Sears is also a member of the British national team.
"I am thrilled to continue to be part of such a first-class organization as EWE Baskets. People in Oldenburg ensured that I feel at home here and will be better prepared to start the new season," Sears said. "I am looking forward to participating in the EuroCup and now contributing more to the team's success by being 100% fit."
