Hours after bringing in center Adam Hrycaniuk, Asseco Arka Gdynia kept working on strengthening its frontcourt by re-signing stretch big man Dariusz Wyka, who will play his third campaign with the Polish powerhouse. Wyka (2.09 meters, 27 years old) averaged 6.4 points and 4.3 rebounds in 39 Polish League games last season, hitting 35 three-point shots. Wyka averaged 3.1 points and 3.2 rebounds in 10 7DAYS EuroCup games, too. He started his career with Sokol Znicz Jaroslaw and also played Siarka Jezioro Tarnobrzeg, UMKS Kielce, MKS Budimpex Polonia Przemysl and PBS Bank EFOR energy MOSiR Krosno before joining Arka in 2017. He helped Krosno win the Polish second division title in 2016 and has been a member of the Polish national team.
