EWE Baskets Oldenburg signed veteran guard Braydon Hobbs on a two-year deal, the club announced Monday. Hobbs (1.96 meters, 30 years old) has spent the past two seasons with FC Bayern Munich, which he helped win back-to-back German championships and the 2018 German Cup. He averaged 3.7 points on 48.8% three-point shooting and 2.7 assists over 18 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games last season, his first in the competition. Hobbs has played three 7DAYS EuroCup seasons with three different teams - Alba Fehervar of Hungary and ratiopharm Ulm and Bayern of Germany – during which he's averaged 8.2 points on 44.9% three-point shooting plus 3.3 assists in 45 games. He helped Bayern reach the EuroCup Semifinals in 2018. Hobba has also played for Mackay Meteors and Gladstone Port City Tower in Australia, Caceres in Spain, and Nuernberg and Giessen in Germany.
