Tofas adds size with Williams
Tofas Bursa strengthened its frontcourt by signing athletic big man Devin Williams on a one-year deal, the club announced Monday. Williams (2.06 meters, 25 years old) split last season between Turkish side Buyukcekmece and Buducnost VOLI Podgorica of Montenegro. He was leading the Turkish League in rebounds with 18.1 points and 11.5 rebounds per game, before joining Buducnost in February. Williams appeared in six Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games and in limited minutes posted 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds. He later helped the team reach the Adriatic League finals and win the Montenegrin championship. Wiliams previously played for Melbourne in Australia, Greensboro and Maine in the G-League and Vaqueros de Bayamon in Puerto Rico. He is now set to return to Turkey and make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut.
