Nanterre 92 added a new floor general to its roster, none other than Kenny Chery, who signed a one-year deal with the French powerhouse on Wednesday. Chery (1.80 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Bouzalac Basket Dordogne, where he averaged 16.7 points, 3.4 rebounds and 4.3 assists in 34 French League games last season. He started his career with TLI-Alba Fehervar of Hungary and also played for Real Betis Energia Plus and Delteco Gipuzkoa San Sebastian of Spain before joining Bouzalac. He was the third-best scorer in the French League last season. Chery reached the Hungarian League finals with Alba in 2016 and helped the Canadian U18 national team to get a bronze medal at the 2010 FIBA Americas championships.
