MoraBanc Andorra reached an agreement with power forward Nacho Llovet, who signed a three-year deal with his new team on Wednesday. Llovet (2.02 meters, 28 years old) arrives from Rio Natura Monbus Obradoiro, where he averaged 9.0 points and 5.1 rebounds in 34 Spanish League games last season. Llovet started his career with Joventut Badalona's youth teams and after a season and a half with that club's associate team, CB Prat, he made his Spanish League debut in the 2010-11 season. Llovet played for Joventut until 2016, when he joined Obradoiro. He has also been a member of the Spanish national team. He helped Spain win respective gold medals at the 2007 U16 European Championships and the 2011 U20 European Championships, and got a bronze medal at the 2010 U20 European Championships.
"He is a solid, experienced player who already has had an important role in the Spanish League," MoraBanc general manager Francesc Solana said. "We expect Nacho Llovet to lead our locker room and make the team connect with our fans. We hope he will keep playing the way we did in past seasons, and that he will be a reference for us in the upcoming years."
