Darussafaka Tekfen Istanbul added a central piece to its backcourt by signing guard Doron Lamb on Monday. Lamb (1.93 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Lavrio Aegean Cargo, where he averaged 14.2 points on 46.6% three-point shooting, 2.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in 26 Greek League games last season. He started his professional basketball career with Fort Wayne of the D-League and has also played for Milwaukee and Orlando of the NBA, Frisco and Westchester of the D-League, Buducnost VOLI Podgorica of Montenegro and Nanterre 92 of France. Lamb helped the University of Kentucky win the NCAA Tournament in 2012. After a brief taste of the EuroCup in 2015-16 (two games, 14 minutes, no points), Lamb returns to the competition four years later.
