Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana signed forward Martin Krampelj, who spent the past four seasons playing college basketball at Creighton University. Krampelj (2.06 meters, 24 years old) averaged 13.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game for the Bluejays. A native of Slovenia, Krampelj played one season of high school basketball in Florida before attending Creighton, which he graduated from in May with a marketing degree. He has suffered a torn ACL three times, which derailed his college career.
"Before the start of the summer there were many offers on my table, but when the offer came from Cedevita Olimpija, there was not much thought," Krampelj said. "The story of the newly formed club has great potential and, after consulting with family and agent Benjamin Stevic, the decision to join the club was easy and simple. I cannot wait to start the new season and introduce myself to the Ljubljana fans and step into Stozice Arena."
