Tofas Bursa has made veteran scorer Matt Lojeski its newest addition for the 2019-20 7DAYS EuroCup season, agreeing with him on a one-year contract with an option for one more. Lojeski (1.98 meters, 34 years old) has played the last six seasons in the Turkish Airlines EuroLeague, the first four with Olympiacos Piraeus and the last two with Panathinaikos OPAP Athens. Lojeski was the leading scorer for Olympiacos with 17 points in the 2015 EuroLeague Championship Game, a 78-59 loss to Real Madrid. He was injured, however, when the Reds returned to the title game in 2017 and lost to Fenerbahce Istanbul. All told, Lojeski has played in 143 EuroLeague games and averaged 8.7 points. His 42.6% three-point shooting over the last six seasons is the 15th-best accuracy rate in the EuroLeague during that span. Lojeski began his pro career in Belgium, where he played two seasons for Aalstar and four for Oostende. His only previous EuroCup experience came over six games with Oostende during the 2012-13 season in which he averaged 16 points.
