Promitheas inks forward Agravanis
Aug 06, 2019
Promitheas Patras boosted its front line for its upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup debut by signing forward
, the club announced on Tuesday. Agravanis (2.08 meters, 24 years old) arrives from Olympiacos Piraeus, where he spent the last six seasons. During that span he played in 79 Turkish Airlines EuroLeague games, including a pair of championship game appearances in 2015 and 2017, with career averages of 3.4 points and 2.4 rebounds. Injury problems, however, played a big part in allowing him to appear in just nine games in the competition over the past two years. Last season Agravanis posted 3.4 points in limited minutes in the Greek League for the Reds. Over the six years, he helped Olympiacos win a pair of Greek League crowns and the 2013 Intercontinental Cup. Agravanis previously played in the Maroussi Athens youth system and made his professional debut with that club, and he also played one season for Panionios Athens where he made his EuroCup debut, a 19-second appearance in 2012.
