Buducnost, coach Subotic part ways
Buducnost VOLI Podgorica announced on Friday it is parting ways with head coach Slobodan Subotic. Couple days after a Round 3 home loss against Asseco Arka Gdynia, which dropped the team to 0-3 record in Group D, the perennial Montenegrin champion and Subotic came to a mutual agreement to terminate contract. "At this moment, due to bad results to start the season in the EuroCup and ABA SuperCup, I agree that a change is needed to give an impulse for the players", Subotic said in a statement through the club website. "I agree such a move is needed for the team to get going in the right direction, and towards the goals set before the season." Buducnost is yet to announce who will take over in place of Subotic starting with Round 4 game next week on the road at Galatasaray Doga Sigorta Istanbul.
