Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana added size to its roster by signing center Ziga Dimec to a two-year deal, the club announced Monday. Dimec (2.10 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Sixt Primorska Koper, where he averaged 6.7 points and 3.6 rebounds in 20 Adriatic League games last season. He started his career with Zlatorog Lasko and has also played for several other Slovenian clubs, including Rogaska Crystal and Krka Novo Mesto, as well as for medi Bayreuth of Germany and Lietkabelis Panevezys of Lithuania. Dimec won the Slovenian Cup title with Krka in 2016 and Primorska in 2020. He has also been a member of the Slovenian national team, which he helped win the gold medal at EuroBasket 2017.
