Metropolitans 92 strengthened its frontcourt with the signing of power forward Tomer Ginat, the club announced Wednesday. Ginat (2.02 meters, 25 years old) arrives from Hapoel Tel Aviv, where he averaged 15.0 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 21 Israeli League games as of his signing. The Hapoel captain will finish the Israeli season, which will run until late July, before joining Metropolitans. This will be his first experience outside his native Israel; Ginat started his professional career with Ironi Nahariya and played for Ironi Kiryat Ata before joining Hapoel in 2016. He is also a member of the Israeli national team. Ginat is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Metropolitans next season.
