Nanterre, forward Conklin re-unite
Nanterre 92 re-united with another of its former players, signing a one-year deal with forward Brian Conklin, the club announced on Saturday. Conklin (1.98 meters, 30 years old) played last season for fellow French side Limoges CSP. He posted 13.3 points and 3.1 rebounds in the 7DAYS EuroCup and 10.9 points and 4.3 rebounds in the French League. This will be Conklin’s second stint with Nanterre, where he played in the 2016-17 campaign and helped the team win the French Cup and FIBA Europe Cup. During his professional career, Conklin has also played for Zero Fees Southland Sharks of New Zealand, Townsville Crocodiles and Illawarra Hawks in Australia, Cangrejeros de Santurce, Piratas de Quebradillas and Indio de Mayaguez of Puerto Rico, as well as Leones de Santo Domingo of the Dominican Republic. Conklin has career averages of 10.0 points and 4.0 rebounds in the EuroCup.
