Andorra extends Perez through 2023

MoraBanc Andorra reached a new agreement with power forward Tyson Perez, who extended his contract until the end of the 2022-23 season, the club announced Monday. Perez (2.02 meters, 24 years old) averaged 7.3 points on 65.56% two-point shooting, 5.6 rebounds and 1.1 steals in 14 7DAYS EuroCup games off the bench last season, his first in the competition. He ranked 15th overall in rebounds per 40 minutes (7.7). He joined Andorra from Real Canoe, a team which he led from Spain's third to second division two seasons ago with a 29-point, 16-rebound performance in Game 5 of the finals. In the 2018-19 campaign, his first in the second division, he averaged 16 points and 10.6 rebounds over 26 games and was named MVP of the competition despite his team finishing in 15th place out of 18 teams.
