MoraBanc Andorra reached a new agreement with shooting guard David Jelinek to stay together until the end of the 2022-23 season, the club announced on Tuesday. Jelinek (1.95 meters, 29 years old) averaged 8.6 points on 44.1% three-point shooting in 14 7DAYS EuroCup games off the bench last season, his third with the club. He helped Andorra reach the EuroCup semifinals in 2019. Jelinek started his career with BBK Ives Brno of his native Cezch Republic, and has also played for Joventut Badalona, Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and Prat Joventut of Spain, Olin Edirne and Usak Sportif of Turkey, Krasnye Krilia Samara of Russia and Anwil Wloclawek of Poland before joining Andorra in 2016. Jelinek has also been a member of the Czech national team.
