MoraBanc Andorra added versatility and experience to its roster by inking swingman Haukur Palsson to a two-year deal, the club announced Wednesday. Palsson (1.97 meters, 28 years old) arrives from UNICS Kazan, where he averaged 4.4 points in 12 7DAYS EuroCup games last season, his first in the competition, while also helping his team reach the playoffs. Palsson had joined UNICS from JSF Nanterre, where he averaged 9.4 points and 3.2 rebounds in 38 French League games in 2018-19. He started his career with Stella Azzurra of Italy and has also played for the University of Maryland (NCAA), Basquet Manresa, KIROLBET Baskonia Vitoria-Gasteiz and Breogan Lugo of Spain, LF Basket Lulea of Sweden, Mitteldeutscher of Germany, UMFN Njardvik of his native Iceland, as well as for SPO Rouen Basket and Cholet Basket of France. Palsson has also been a member of the Icelandic national team.
