Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana bolstered its frontcourt by signing center Mangok Mathiang to a one-year deal on Friday. Mathiang (2.08 meters, 27 years old) arrives from Bahcesehir College Istanbul, where he averaged 12.7 points, a competition-best 10.6 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 18 Turkish League games last season. He started his professional basketball career with Charlotte of the NBA and has also played for Greensboro of the D-League and Vanoli Basket Cremona of Italy before joining Bahcesehir. Mathiang has also been a member of the Australian national team. He helped Cremona win the Italian Cup title in 2019. Now Mathiang is set to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Olimpija.
