Andorra lands versatile forward Pauli

MoraBanc Andorra strengthened its roster by signing versatile forward Oriol Pauli to a three-year deal, the club announced Monday. Pauli (2.01 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Herbalife Gran Canaria, where he played in the last six seasons. He averaged 4.4 points and 1.5 rebounds in 22 Spanish League games last season. In his six years there, Pauli and Gran Canaria reached the 7DAYS EuroCup Finals in 2015, the semifinals in 2016 and the quarterfinals in 2017 and 2018. Pauli also helped Gran Canaria get to the Spanish Cup final and lift the Spanish SuperCup title in 2016. In 63 EuroCup career games with Gran Canaria, Pauli has averaged 4.6 points and 2.0 rebounds. Pauli started his career with FC Barcelona's second team, joining Gran Canaria in 2014. He has also been a member of the Spanish national team. He helped Spain win a silver medal at the 2014 U20 European Championships.
