Germani Brescia announced the signing of big man T.J. Cline on Wednesday. Cline (2.06 meters, 26 years old) arrives from Hapoel U-NET Holon, for which he has played the past three seasons and saw his production rise steadily from year to year. He averaged 12.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and 3.1 assists for a performance index rating of 16.0 in 21 games last season. Cline made his professional basketball debut in 2017 with Galatasaray Istanbul, with which he played four games in the 7DAYS EuroCup before moving to Holon. Cline, the son of Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman-Cline, was the 2016-17 Atlantic 10 Conference player of the year in his final college basketball season at the University of Richmond. He has also played for the Israeli national team.
"T.J. Cline is a classic power forward, a player who can attack and defend on the perimeter or close to the basket," Coach Vincenzo Esposito. "He is a complete player. In the last three years he played in Israel and has constantly been growing both as a scorer and as a rebounder."
