UNICS adds depth with Zhbanov
UNICS Kazan continues building its roster for the upcoming 7DAYS EuroCup campaign with the addition of swingman Georgy Zhbanov on a one-year deal with an option for another season, the club announced on Saturday. Zhbanov (1.97 meters, 22 years old) arrives from a fellow Russian side Nizhny Novgorod where he spent the last four years. Last season he posted 4.3 points, 2.4 rebounds and 1.7 assists in the VTB League. Zhbanov was a member of the Russian national team in youth categories and now is set to make his EuroCup debut.
