Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana announced a new agreement with up-and-coming talent Egor Sytnikov, who re-signed his contract until the end of the 2023-24 season. Sytnikov (1.93 meters, 18 years old) has also been promoted to Olimpija's first team, too. He took part in the Euroleague Basketball Adidas Next Generation tournament last season, helping Olimpija finish 5th in the Belgrade qualifier. Sytnikov averaged 18.5 points on excellent shooting percentages (72.2% 2FG, 43.8% 3FG, 85.7% FT) and 5.5 rebounds in 4 games. He is expected to make his 7DAYS EuroCup debut with Cedevita next season. "I am very excited to join Cedevita Olimpija's first team. I have been in Ljubljana for three years, and all this time I have been wearing the jersey of its youth categories," Sytnikov said. "It is time for a fresh start in my career, at a very high level that I haven’t performed at so far. I can’t wait to start the training process, and to grow as a player and a person. I will always do my best, and the only thing left for me in the coming seasons is to work hard."
