Lokomotiv adds Hervey to frontline

Lokomotiv Kuban Krasnodar announced on Monday that is has signed forward Kevin Hervey for the coming season. He takes the place of Johnny O'Bryant, who was released last week due to personal issues. Hervey (2.03 meters, 24 years old) signed a one-year deal. He arrives from Oklahoma City of the NBA, where he spent the last two seasons, including stretches with the club's D-League affiliate. Hervey averaged 12.0 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.5 steals in the D-League last season. Before that that he played college basketball at the University of Texas at Arlington, with which he was the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2017. There have been many players to win that award and go on to successful European careers including two-time All-EuroLeague guard Bo McCalebb and Zalgiris forward Augustine Rubit.
